Skse with SmartFx Shader Injector and OSD

Post » Tue Jan 22, 2013 2:01 pm

Hi Everyone,
I can't get the SmartFX Shader to work with my Skse and OSD.
Skse and SmartFX work fine together but my OSD thru EVGA Precision will not show up. I have messed with all kinds of settings and nothing works.

It will show up without Skse but not with it.

Thanks for any help.

SmartFX is a SMAA injector mod.
SMAA is a better version of FXAA.
OSD is On Screen Display. It lets me
Monitor GPU temp and Framerate and such.

Thanks.

Based on your OP, it sounds like this is an OSD issue, and not a Skyrim issue? Does EVGA monitor when you open a game so it can overlay the appropriate info? SKSE launched through a different executable, so maybe you have to tell OSD that it's launched somewhere else.

Likely the case.

Additionally, if you use ENB (you don't mention it, but just in case), it does NOT play well with these types of things. Afterburner, d3dOverrider, things like that will often simply crash the game if you run then with ENB.
