Skyrim 2012 -- bring it up to date.

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 7:27 pm

Whilst its nice living in the E10 second century or whatever, imagine what would happen if Bethesda set this game in 2012. For example all the skullduggery, lying and cheating could take place in Miami, or LA -- . Bethesda has the framework of the game, just re-skin the characters, change Skyrim to Florida etc. add some challenging quests. Problem is magic, that doesn,t transduce.

Races could be gangsters, football or ice hockey team supporters, political parties;.and so on. Weapons are weapons. Quests are bank heists, election campaigns, infrastructure projects and........assassinations.

Perks make you underworld bosses, Mayors, chairman of a baseball team or even Pres.

Ho Ho, who,d be a turkey at Xmas.

Ugh, normally I try to be open minded about ideas like this but this just sounds bad.

Martha Lydia, you and I are going on a nice long 'drive', and by 'drive' I mean I am going to slug you in between the eyes with an arrow to the face.

This is the dumping place for all the Skyrim spam threads that aren't spammy enough to be locked straight away.

So basically you don't want to play an Elder Scrolls game.

Speaking of padlocks, mind tossing me one? I've been meaning to lock my bike shed, but since you're here, it'll save me a trip to the store.

The Elder Scrolls: Miami

Or TES: Death Valley

But really, I can see some sort of Fallout 4-ish thing out of this but TES? No way...

THIS!
If they do that then it wouldn't be TES. It would be nice if the people who made Mafia 1 where to make a Mafia game set in 1950's Miami or Cuba.

Funny. I wouldn't mind. Why Miami, though? Make it Hollywood, and then we're talking.
