Skyrim After Dark Machinima(sort of) Video

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:53 am

True true, just saying, if it's made for the masses, you can hook more people with a less personal choice in music. Why I suggested a version with no singing, the video speaks for itself.

Well I could, but then I would like it less! Most of my videos I make because I like it, thus making it for myself :)

Doesn't change the fact that I love to share them! :D

I already posted further up the page about loving the vid. But I'll also add to it saying that that's the first time I have heard that music track and loved it. I think vid is edited well with the lyrics of the song "says the jester to the thief" to name one well edited bit in the vid.and the vid needs something edgy to match the dark theme of the vid. Yeah top marks also for the music choice.

I like the vignetting and radial blur effects. Thanks, definitely checking out MBL.

I also like the song... Another good rendition of Dylan's original, but Hendrix is still the best.

I find this version best tbh. Perhaps it is because its from the BSG soundtrack and I looooove BSG :D

Third watch of it now just keeps getting better. How long did you work on it? And how long have you been doing this type of thing for for a hobbie.

I worked on it for quite a few weeks, but thats because Im very busy irl. It took me quite some time, but im not sure how long! It took even longer because during the making process I changed what I wanted with the editing so I had to shoot tons more shots.

And believe me, those slowmotion shots take time! Finding the right moment, putting the game in slowmotion and then finding the right angle to shoot from. Is quite tricky to get it right :)

But it was worth it :D

Ive been doing this for quite some years now. All started with some stupid video about me and a friend playing in the snow(Might be on my channel somewhere) and really got fired up when I played wow in the old days.

Also,

I need some new ideas for another video.

I was thinking of a more scenic video about the beautiful places in Skyrim, but thats so simple... need something new and challenging :)

Any ideas?
