Skyrim and Vampires

Hey citizens of Skyrim

First i wanna thank for the awesome game that is Skyrim, elderscrolls have really gone all the way on this one :)

But i want to address the only thing that have been bothering me so far.

Vampireism is made really cool in Skyrim but isn't it nerfed quite a bit?

I played morrowind as a vampire mage, and in oblivion too and in those games the weaknesses were nicly balanced compared to the gains.
But in skyrim i only get a little better illusions spells and sneaking. besides from this i get some powers which i can already cast myself.
And when you think about the reduced hp and no regen during day time as well as the low fire resistance against dragons and all the fireball spitting enemies i really feel like it isn't worth it as a mage or fighter.

Might just be me but i miss the extra strength (i know its removed) but mabey some hand to hand damage/weapon damage/ mana reduction or extra spell damage.

Just something to bring that good old vampire feeling back, that would be awesome :)

Regards Lord Rezo, a huge elderscrolls fan.

I just think they shoudl have the following attributes:

Faster speed movement

50% of silence movement ,

actually working invisibility and not just a graphical trick when I tried all guards could spot me and shot arrows even at great distance wich is ridiculous

a kind of level system that the more you do the more u get .....

some extra powers that could be cool would be shapechangelike cloud of vapour , bat or wolf , better climbing abilities like the Actually broken horse , and much more health and strenght .... health increased with victims svcking .... etc

they feeel kind of underpowered compared to the werewolves... the werewolves shoudl just need a higher jump possibility...

same for Vampires...

I've not been able to get a full explanation for this yet and perhaps I shall have to go to the Lore section for an athorative response.

In Cyrodil you contract Pophyrric Haemophaelia to become a Vampre.

This is different than the desease in Skyrim and this might be why the attributes are slightly different.

I never became a Vampire in Morrowind.

Does anyone remember what they called the disease there?

Cheers
