Skyrim Arena Online

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 6:11 am

I know online gameplay would be pretty difficult for Bethesda to handle and to please the masses, at least at this time. However, I really think they could have an Arena DLC where people could compete with each other. Just for fun, to see whose character really is the best.

I thought that would be cool too. But then you could just build a character who only upgrades Magicka, uses only spells and has serious gear that ups Magicka and you'd be screwed beyond your wildest dreams.

Please provide an existing example of a game that did not/was not built with multiplayer functioning of anykind in its developement, and had Multiplayer/online competitive/Co-op functioning added as a DLC.

Yes it would be. Will it be implemented in this game? No.

Yes, because adding a feature that will force people to OCD even more about their character instead of RPing and playing the game as intended is a nice adition to an RPG.

Edit: Go play a multiplayer game already. There are tons! No need to ruin the only true open ended (singleplayer!) RPG series out there.
