I have made sure all my drivers are updated, including graphics and sound.

I bought the game on Steam, and have verified the game cache twice.

I have set graphics to 'low' and 'medium', just incase (after automatically being set to 'high').

Plenty of restarts.= of my PC.

I am still having this issue:

I start up the game, and I get the Bethesda logo and sound effect fine. Then will come the Skyrim design, I'll see smoke creeping up.. then splat. Gone. Every time, it crashes back to windows. No freeze, or warning. It will just go like it was never there (Steam will also show me as 'not playing', the game is completely closed). I believe this is the menu screen? But I do not know. As my game.. it just goes.

Windows 7 64 bit
Intel i7 Q740 @1.73GHz
4GB RAM

Does anyone know what would be causig this problem? Is this something other people have experienced? I have been waiting for Skyrim for a long time now, and was very much looking forward to playing.
