Hi! I'm completely new to this forum, and modding, so please bear with me.

Okay, so I'm here because I tried my hand at the creation kit for the first time today to make some bookshelves for Lakeview Manor (it only has one! thats crazy!)

I found a tutorial, followed it, and made a little test bookshelf in a corner of the cellar. I loaded it properly, and it worked great! I was so happy, I decided to make a couple more. I made 2 on the second floor of the main section of Lakeview Manor. This time however, when I loaded my game with the second plugin, my game crashed about 10 seconds after my save finished loading. I've isolated it to just this second plugin, so obviously something is wrong with it. As I said, all I did was make 2 bookshelves. I deleted one or 2 items to get them out of the way, but nothing else. I cant figure out why it is crashing my game when the other one is working fine.

Anyone have any idea where I messed up, or what I can do to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated.


EDIT: So I've also tried to load up the mod that crashes skyrim, and I can't load it in the creation kit. I obviously corrupted this file somehow. What did I do?

Looking at your last comment, I'm not quite sure what the issue is. But... you shouldn't really delete items as this will cause errors (ctd) if there is a mod that also references an item that you deleted. It's much better to disable them and move them out of the way. TESV-Edit can automatically do this for you on deleted objects.
