Hello everyone, I have a serious issue. Just last night I uninstalled the mjolnir's hammer mod and my Nexus mod manager had to update to the most recent version. Once it updated and removed the mod for me I turned off my Skyrim and went to sleep. When I tried to turn on skyrim today to play It I ran into several issues all of which caused my game to crash to desktop. But In a wierd manner, seemingly random.
Turn on game onto main menu-works fine
Load any save game-CTD
Load game, doesn't crash, punch or move-CTD
Load game, doesn't crash-can do anything and doesn't crash, open up menu and try to load a different game-CTD
Load game, everything works, try to save that same save file over itself-CTD
So after several attempts to remedy this situation myself from looking at other forums/threads and everything not solving the problem, I uninstalled/re installed my Skyrim game, that didn't work. Then I uninstalled every mod I had, still have the same problems, then I just uninstalled the nexus mod manager (NMM) completely and I still have the same problem.
So can anyone tell me what I need to do? or whats wrong? Are all my saved characters like..corrupt now? Am I unable to play them anymore and have top start over? I'm quite upset, several hundred hours of game play. but if the only way is getting rid of everything, then it must be done. Also side note, if this entire post is inappropriate for this thread, I'm sorry.
If there is anyone out there that can help me or if you know anyone who can help me, please let them know. Ill try anything, I wont be able to play any skyrim untill I get this fixed
I know this doesnt belong here but I'm sorry I posted in the software and hardware section and haven't gotten any real help at all, so please could someone direct me to someplace that could help me, or tell me what the problem is or anything?
