Nope. There's also no reason for it to.
And no way for it to, short of adding more skills.

Yeah, no problem.

They are adding the new Werewolf and Vampire skill tree so they just might
It has been stated countless times that the Werewolf, & Vampire perk trees are not skill trees, & that you do not spend perks from leveling up on them.
You gain perks from brutalizing people in each monster's respective fashion, & spend those.
No new skills, no level increase.

Those aren't linked to regular skill progression, they operate independently.

They said the level cap will remain the same.
The new perk trees will handle differently than the ones we got now so there was no need to increase the cap.

In many ways, they are not skill trees as you do not spend perks that you earn from levelling up. Instead, you feed on humans as either a vampire or werewolf (whichever one you are) and earn perks within the trees. At a guess, these perks will go away after time unless you continue to feed. This was done so that players who had reached the maximum level-cap could still experience the new abilities and the level-cap wouldn't have to be raised, which might upset some of the other aspects of the game in terms of balance.

There is a natural hard cap at Level 81, caused by the skill limit in each skill at 100. The game leveling is designed for up to level 50.

So unless the skills can go >100, then level 81 is the max.

Can you please go in depth as to what you mean by game leveling being designed for up to level 50?

Monsters stop scaling after level 53, meaning the player who goes higher than that has an easier time as levels accrue. Basically Bethesda decided not to even make an attempt to keep the game balanced at the very end for some reason.

because before skyrim people never really tried to get past level 50. There was no reason to.

That is why the acheivement for master is to get to level 50, not 81

No. Still 81. The new perk trees don't function like the other ones, so there was no reason to increase the cap.

The mathematical level cap is 81. There is no way to get past that, short of adding new skills, or allowing skills to go over 100. And while I'd love to have a survival skill, I don't see it happening.

Yeah except adding perk trees without adding levels svcks. Every other perk tree is also a skill as well. So will I have to use my perks that I already dont have enough to do what I want with to activate the perks on these trees?

Do people have some sort of phobia of reading? The new perk trees will NOT require the use of perk points. Please, read other posts, and stop asking the same damn question over and over.

Regardless adding perk trees and not levels svcks. They should have added to the level cap. It would easily have been possible in multiple different ways, several stated in this thread the easiest to be skills going over 100. Each DLC could have made it slightly more possible to max out your characters skills if you wanted to keep growing that character seeing as how it is perks that really grow your character in this game.

Not quite. The current soft cap for Skyrim is level 50, meaning that at that level things stop leveling with you.

It's been confirmed that Dawnguard adds newer higher level enemies. Meaning the hardcap is still 81, you cannot level past that. However the soft cap has been raised, so you will continue to fight foes that level with you passed level 50 now.

Seriously, the level of smugness in this thread is astounding. I think several people need to put down their keyboards, take a breath, and let their interwebz egos get some air. The question has been answer, so why banter back and forth over reading?
