Skyrim is everything they said it would be

Skyrim is everything they said it would be, the open world, the dragons, the radiant story system, the leveling, the vast amount of content, but I'm bored with it because it seems redundant after awhile.

Sure there are many quests to do but the way you do them are always the same, hack and slash and dps as much as possible in every battle. Each quest usually tells you to travel an absurd game padding distance to complete it, except for the minor miscellaneous quests, and this makes it not fun because it is so repetitive.

The quests are not the only thing that's repetitive, the combat is also. In every battle I repeat the same set of hack and slash actions and it's the same when fighting dragons.

I could go on and talk about the cons of the leveling and GUI system but let me say this: perhaps it's not the game that is the problem it is me. Clearly many other people enjoy playing it as time goes on but I do not. The more I play it the more tedious it feels to complete quests, to fight dragons, and to go on with the story. I envy those that feel fulfilled but the game is boring in my opinion.

Your inner child, if it ever existed, is dead. Stick with accounting and buying groceries.
