Skyrim: My favourite game

Post » Wed Feb 27, 2013 6:57 am

When Skyrim was first released it was a good game, buggy like most games on relase these days and Beth games especially.
Now with all the many patches and sweet DLC almost all the bugs and glitches I wanted fixed are now fixed.
This upgrades Skyrim from one of my favourite games to the best game ever and I have played a lot over the years.
Ever played games on tape?

Going into all the reasons why I love this game so much would take far too much space.
It is not perfect, not flawless and notcompletely bug and glitch free and the Nine knows Morrowind and Oblivion weren't in the last patches.
I love Morrowind to bits, especially Tribunal and Bloodmoon but I can't deny that it was a horribly unbalanced, buggy, extremely glitchy game with lots of poorly thought out and implemented game mechanics and combat and the economy system was a joke.
I love Morrowind for the setting, the lore, the cultures but not so much the cliff racers, the annoying hills which gives the illusion of a vast game world and the not well functioning faction and skill system.

So let's drink to our youth for the days come and gone and raise your flagon to another dead dragon there is just one drink we need, NORD MEAD!

Show me a manlier, more badass game than this, because if it exists I want to play it.
The basic concept: A badass demigod hunter of his own kind who Shouts at reality and reality wraps to his Words of Power, he is the natural predator of dragons. There is one they fear. In their tongue he is Dovahkiin. DRAGONBORN!

I have a few chararcter concepts to finish before I will make my Ultimate Nord Hero Dovahkiin.
Share your love for this extremely awesome and sweet game.
Awesome as in the original meaning, not the popcultural meaning.
Or is it just me who feel awe?
