Skyrim for Wii U?

Post » Sun Nov 11, 2012 4:16 am

I haven't bought Skyrim yet, but I'm getting the Wii U soon, and would love to play it there! Any chance of that happening?

They've already said they're ambivalent about it. Take a look athttp://wiiudaily.com/2012/09/skyrim-developer-still-unsure-about-the-wii-u/. I wouldn't give up hope of it ever happening, but I doubt it'll come in the near future.

Probably not.

Although, the traditional Wii controller would cool to use in this game.

they will probably have another company port it. if it does come out see if another company ports it if not wait for a few reviews because bethesda is bad at porting and they are especially bad the first time they port to a console
ie: morrowind xbox, fallout 3 ps3

Could it happen? Definitely. Will it? Probably not.

If I could choose I definitely wouldn't play this game with the Wii controllers, but I think that the Wii U controller would be awesome, with maps/items on the screen on the controller. Of course, if they do port it to Wii U, I hope that they also will make it compatible with the Wii U Pro Controller.

For the Wii? I don't think they are trying to reach the pokemon cards collecting kids as group of buyers. ;)

You seem like an intelligent person.

Edit: OK, I feel like I need to add something to that post.

First of all, I'm talking about Wii U. Wii U, not the Wii. You probably didn't see the U, honest mistake.
As for your comment about "pokemon cards collecting kids"; do you think that all people who play Skyrim are grown ups? Do you think that just because it's violence, it's only grown ups playing these games? I know as many kids(16 and under) playing Skyrim, Halo, CoD etc. as people over that age. These companies make a lot of money on kids.

I'm pretty sure they are cause all the little kids play other games now. anyway the wii still has a huge audience and even if the majority was little kids they could still sell tons of copys

And here was me thinking that Pokemon are hardly a stable on Nintendo consoles, but rather their handhelds.
