Skyrim Graphics - The two faces

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:49 pm

Imho there are two sides when it comes to Skyrim graphics.

The good: you walk through the wilderness, you see the trees, you see the snowy mountains in the back, you see the sky, the clouds, it starts to snow, you "feel" the cold .. this is a WOW, this is really cool.

The bad: then you get into the next town, its daylight and the sun shines ... and you see Shadows that look like "1999", you see textures on walls, fences which such low level of detail that you think "am I am playing Doom 1" ...

=> Fix the shadow, fix the texture problem and fix some of the general low level textures ..

and its all fine ..

Considering the quest blocking glitches, framerate dips and stuttering, disappearing NPCs and followers, I'd say this is the least of their issues... and don't expect a patch for it.
