Skyrim hardcoe Challenge

Not for me. I won't be making myself eat and drink at regular intervals. Heck, I don't even do that now. I eat when I want to and don't when I don't want to. Some of this is just a bit to Sims like for my liking.

I do however have little rules for my characters. Like not allowing my character to waste animal products requiring me to go back to town to sell my accumulated skins and meat unless I can find an alter to place it on as a sacrifice. And I don't use fast travel until I have the majority of the map uncovered at which time I use it almost exclusively to complete quests.

And my always 2 most important rules for playing TES games is to 1. Save frequently and save saves and 2. Take my time, stop and look around and enjoy the walk.

I applaud all of you who are doing this as I myself have never been able to get myself the motivation to do this plus my wife would leave me and take my kids, whom I happen enjoy....most of the time.

I think that ending my character's playthrough when they die would be too frustrating for me personally, but other than that this seems like a really fun Idea. I will definitely try this.

1&2- I think my girlfriend would just up and leave me right there!

She isn't much of a sport is she? :P

Yeah, I'll take the challenge, rule 5 included. I just have to decide which character build to use.. I have about 4 set up right now. :)

For additional nerdiness, my PC will always have to carry a quill, ink, and parchment, in order for me to update the journal

Great idea, I'll do the same.
About first point - I probably won't do it, because I have too many other activites such as regular job B) girlfriend :hugs:, sport, ... and if I focus my whole free time solely on Skyrim + keeping real journal, that wouldn't be alright.
Otherwise, I never fast travel, perhaps with carriages only but we'll see about that.
I drink and eat at least two times per day and sleep at least six hours, usually nights, but I might also take daily nap.I almost always walk, except if it'll be real slow, then I won't and will wait for some speed mods..
I probably won't go with dead is dead, because I'll definitely get too fond of my first character.
Besides, I'll probably play the game really really slowly, enjoying environemnt, doing odds and ends, taking walks and thinking where to find Dark Brotherhood - my first character will be evil, not ultimately evil, but still. This will be my 1st time that I'll do my 1st playthrough with evil guy, I usually play good guys.

That is such a good idea! But it seems a shame to spend all that time on a beautiful journal and not be able to share it with anyone!

Perhaps if I did it digitally.

4. - Though the game does not require it, eating food and sleeping regularly may help with the overall immersion effect.

Wait, real life or no?
Sounds intriguing. I may partake.

please tell me bards sing more songs than these 2, because I've only listened to one bard and he only knew these 2, and I was like, damn this is awesome can't wait to meet different bards and hear different songs
