Skyrim has been really buggy since dawnguard

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 1:53 pm

I downloaded dawnguard the day of release and completed it the following day, but since the expansion has been on my 360 my game has been bugging out like crazy. The most annoying bug i noticed is that dragons don't seem interested in fighting me anymore.. which makes killing a legendary dragon even tougher if i can't fight it -.- ..
Anybody else experiencing these problems?

I've had some more lag issues since downloading, but I think it has more to do with the age of my 360 than it does with the game add on. Plus my hard drive is almost full. I had to delete content just to be able to play Skyrim.

Having an older 360 may actually be the reason, ive had mine for over 3 years now i think, might have something to do with it.
My console froze over 5 times while playing skyrim since the DLC though, getting a nuisance now. Maybe they will patch it

I've heard a few people lagging and crashing but for me I haven't gotten any bugs at all.
So far anyway....

Mine freezes all the dang time anymore. I'm making saves about every three to five minutes so I don't lose a lot of time played. My 360 has red ringed twice so far and is almost five years old. When it dies again I wont be repairing it or buying a new one. This is my last console ever.

Wish i could say the same, my console never used to bug out with skyrim but now its terrible! Almost as buggy as Fallout New vegas..

It most likely is a twofold problem. Oblivion would do this to my from time to time and it does happen with other games. So I think part of it is the game, and the other part is the hardware in the 360. It's just more common for me know than a few years ago when my 360 did not have some many hours of running time.

I've seen a lot of floating weapons and other items pretty much everywhere since I downloaded Dawnguard, and the animals in the wilderness don't want to attack me. So basically, I've gotten free loot and safe passage throughout the cities =).

I would not worry. I had floating weapons since release so that is nothing new. I've had one bug in a new quest from Dawn Guard and some lag. 97% of the time there are no problems.

Not one glitch or bug in the quests or interactions, but I've been getting a weird frame rate stuttering issue since I installed Dawnguard, it only seems to happen outside and is very intermittent. Has any one else experienced that?

This is my last console ever.

This is probably going to be my last Bethesda game on console ever, and maybe my last one in general, but there are plenty of good games that don't go to PC that will keep me playing them.

On topic though: Saying Skyrim has been really buggy since Dawnguard implies it wasn't really buggy since launch. ;)

Well there has always been the odd bug here and there with skyrim, i mean its an elder scrolls game, it wouldnt be one without bugs, it just seems the extra content has made the bugs more frequent, which svcks a bit.

Also, i don't know if this is a bug or not, but none of my legendary dragon weapons are better then my legendary daerdic?

I've had this a few times. They way I fix it is by hitting the wait button and waiting for 24hours. You way be able to wait for less time but I always do it for 24hours.

The only bugs i have encountered was the hair becoming invisible or dotted and the nords being unable to have proper vampire faces or glowing yellow eyes.

Of course Talos, of course

For me, it's weird... i found this game buggy but since Dawnguard it's a little more buggy than before, related with npcs, they appear more close now, and they tend to dissapear more often than before when i kill them... which is... sad? yup, the softer word i can find right now to describe this :(

I have a guy stuck in the ground just outside White run stables, and a few lagging issues, but most of all I cant buy the alchemy lab for Breezehome :( it takes my 500 gold, but the option to buy just greys out not disapears, and the lab never appears
