Skyrim has stopped working

Hello!

I'm getting a message "Skyrim has stopped working" when I run a game from the launcher (from Steam).

My operating system is Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, I'm running it on a Macbook Pro via the Bootcamp.

Problem details:

Please help me. I've pre-bought the game and waited so long!

I've already tried setting my Sound settings to 16 bits, 44100 Hz. Nothing changes.

What graphics card to you have. AFAIK Macbook Pro have very dated graphics card which most likely aren't powerful enough to run Skyrim without issues.

Nevermind it depends on the revision.

This is a very new Macbook Pro.

I've actually just solved a problem. It seems that the files I backed up from another computer (Skyrim - Voices and Skyrim - Sounds) to avoid re-downloading were corrupted. I've deleted them and suddenly the game runned fine! I have to figure out a way to make Steam re-download them again, though

Verifying the Game Cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

If that doesn't work you might have to delete the local content and basically reinstall.

I had the exact same error!

No idea why, because it's been working fine since I got it yesterday. All of a sudden the launcher crashes. It didn't help to reinstall the game and I already have the latest graphic drivers.
