Skyrim.ini fLandTextureTilingMult problem

This problem has been annoying me since Oblivion. When I set the ini value for fLandTextureTilingMult in [Landscape] to something else than the default value to get rid of the visible repetition tiling of the close textures, like this:

[Landscape]
fLandTextureTilingMult=1.5000

instead of this:

[Landscape]
fLandTextureTilingMult=3.000

then the transition LOD textures do not tile correctly anymore because they obviously get larger together with the close textures without changing their tiling size, which they simply shouldn't. The value should only apply to the close textures. Does anyone know a solution for this? I would guess there should be another ini tweak for this, at least I hope so.
