If Skyrim kills our PS3's

Can we sue them or get some form of something to make up for this? Because I swear I haven't had any serious error messages come up on my PS3 since playing this game. The whole "Your harddrive may be corrupted" message is getting pretty old... And worrying the crap out of me.

That would probably be from the Firmware 4.0 update and not Skyrim. Or your PS3 is die'n.

I've amassed a LOT of hours playing Skyrim and am getting no such errors from my refurb fat PS3. I'm guessing yours is about to die and Skyrim being released is just a coincidence.

Yeah my PS3 slim is not dying.... So I'm blaming Skyrim or the new Firmware update but since none of this started till I installed that second Skyrim update... I'm looking at you Bethesda!!

And I'm so happy your old PS3 is giving you no issues but as we know some people are doing fine with this game and most are not...

Apparently the message was added with the 4.00 Firmware update for the PS3 so that in itself isn't something to worry about. Not to say there isn't a possibility of a manual shut down your system after a freeze doing damage to the PS3. Lawsuits would probably be a waste of time and money with something like this, though.
