After downloading the latest DLC for Skyrim:DragonBorn I've come to discover that there is now going to be an Online Elder scrolls game. So for the last 24 hours I've devoured every article, every youtube video, and every blog I could get my hands on, and I've become concerned. I'm not one for MMO hype as I've played every MMO since UO so I know a little something about HYPE.

1) The hyped MEGASERVER! Ok so I understand this is going to be so awesome that the MMO world will faint once they see the awesomeness of it. What about community? Not only do I enjoy playing with my friends/guild mates. I enjoy seeing the same people who are NOT in my guild/friends, not only on my side but the OTHER side. I dont want to just slaughter seas of randoms. I want to see the same enemies again and again. RIVALRY is very important if you are just killing faceless people is that fun?

1b) What if you are solo? Do you constantly just phase in and out of different "server phases" every time? How do you get to know anyone that way?

2) Skyrim like combat Potions right now in Skyrim you can chug potions until you run out. I've seen a few MMOs do this where there is no cooldown. Please have pot cooldowns.

2b) Enchantments OH MAN if its anything like skyrim every caster will be in full daedra/dragon heavy free casting destro/resto spells with 100 magicka 900+ health or whatever equivilant. Please tell me this wont be the case.

2c) Sneaking as I understand will be available to everyone. Yeay!? While this sounds great I suppose. Are we going to have invisible armies? Heavy armor users with Sneak 100 + Invisibility + Muffle or muffle enchant on boots?

2d) Sneaky crits... will there be insane 30X crits available? While one shots are funny in Skyrim thats not very fun for people in an MMO. Also pot shots with arrows you can pop off shots and remain hidden...

2e) Racials...Will the racials be IMBA like in Skyrim? If so prepare for a wave of Bretons on Daggerfall Covenant faction. To not get 25% magic resist for free = you are stupid in PvP

3) Crossing faction boundaries...While I can understand the rational behind this. WIll it be an invisible wall that you bump into that says sorry you cant go that way. Or more DAOC like where there are gates with uber NPCs that impale you with arrows?

4) Starting classes and the #6 uber ability... It seems that every class gets their own set of uber #6 so you can basically be any class with anything ability/weapon. Is the real difference between classes going to be the #6?

5) Where is my beta invite? ~
