skyrim: lost followers bug : Othor Games

unfortunatley, i myself found a place in skyrim called meeko's shack. i came upon the dog and i decidded for him to follow me. yes i know what youre thinking why the [censored] did i get a [censored]in dog to help me? well it turns out it was a very big mistake for me

he followed me for a while but then he just suddenly dissappeared. i gained up to 3 levels and gain a [censored]ton of money and items within that time span and i do not want to go back to my last have where i found meeko. i didnt notice until i actually wanted a nother follower aka vilkas to be my follower until he told me i couldnt because i had another. instanly i knew it was that mutt from hell meeko

so i went along with like watever its just a dog right? wrong. i am now doing a dawngaurd quest were i need that chick to find the eder scroll but she plainly told me i couldnt because i had a "interlooper" turns out that interlooper was that dog and now i cannot find him

i have tried not everything but alot of things. i have slept, went to different places (traveled), waited for 3 days in a row and that dog still hasnt showed its face?

please help this skyrim bug is really starting to annoy the [censored] out of me
