What do you think Skyrim will look like if they changed it to a MMO. Do you think it would be difficult to implement? i.e..a lot of game design changes? Let me clarify...I'm not saying it should or will...I'm just asking the above questions. Clarify again I'm asking for speculation on what it would like....not opinions about the idea of it.
Do not take this great series and crap all over it by wishing it was an MMORPG. The MMORPG market is HORRIBLE. As are the design of them. We aren't a bunch of adolescent Koreans, for chrissake.
Go. Play WoW.
The only way you could make Elder Scrolls better is if you developed a Tabletop Campaign for it.
+ Lots of Content - crap gameplay - crap graphics - crap quests - crap immersion - you're not special anymore
This.
Why does everything that ever existed have to become an MMO nowadays. For a while, lots of companies were trying to horn in on the success of World of Warcraft; I get that. But those days are long past by now.
We already have Mortal Online. About the closest I can think of right now. Though that floats much closer to a hardcoe crowd that what most MMO players like. I personally prefer ES as a single player Hell only reason I don't still play Mortal Online anymore is because its an MMO.
Why does every game have to be multiplayer to make people happy? There are so few true singleplayer games coming out these days... can we just leave the few that we do have alone?
I don't think that Skyrim itself would make a good MMO, but I'm completely open to the idea of an MMO set in Tamriel. I don't think that a lot of game aspects would have to change that much besides making them more suited to player-to-player interactions.
