Okay, so what do you think about it? Better than Morrowind's and Oblivion's?

It may just be left over excitement from the announcement, or anticipation but I like it and think its the best of those three. i love the brooding, guttural feeling of it.

The only thing I don't like about it is the "Huh! Huh! Huh!" chanting in the beginning...

I'm pretty sure Morrowind is still my favorite but once we get the full version this one may very well be the victor!

I really like it. It seems to fit the region very well and instills a sense of might and drama.

I really like it.

Never really did like Oblivion's theme, and I can really hear it in there, but I love anyway. ^^

Up there with Morrowind's. And Morrowind's has the nostalgia factor!

Made me think of vikings and... pirates. A bit Pirates of the Caribbean-esqe. Hey, some pirate action would be cool.

It's not 'better' or 'worse' than with the other games. Well... Morrowind's theme song was really really awesome. Great memories.

I like it (already youtube'd it yesterday - link in sig :) ).

Some don't care for the chanting, but it feels like it 'fits' Skyrim (or at least my image of Skyrim - can't wait for January now....)

I like the style of it, but the intro part of the "Huh! Huh! Huh! Huh!" chanting is way too long. It works in the trailer, but it wouldn't work for a title theme.

WHAT? Well I loved it. It reminded me of the khazad dun scene from lord of the rings... it feels right for Skyrim.

I think the style fits perfectly with a tough northen landscape and roughened up nordsmen walking through an icy storm, maybe seeking shelter in some old burial ground. I still think Morrowind's was better, but that is most likely because I love the game as much as I do... way more interesting than the oblivion one.

It was epic, albeit Morrowind's music was pretty gnarcore, seems as if Skyrim is going to set an interesting mood with it's musical score.

Curious as to how the complete theme works out. I think this isn't how it will appear in the game. The first minute or so is obviously made for the teaser, because it hasn't got that much musical material (it's more ambient there).

You're welcome! I guess this goes without saying, but it can also be put on your iPod or other portable mp3 player, so you can take it wherever you go.

i really, really doubt this is actually the title song. the fact that it drags on for so long without anything happening up until the climix makes it obvious that it was written for the trailer and the accompanying voiceover. i'm sure the actual song will be similar, but until i've heard the full thing i'll reserve my judgement.

i'm personally hoping it starts out quieter, like Morrowind's theme but with a snowy feel, before building into the heavy bit. i'm tired of bombastic videogame themes.

You know I always thought they were singing in another language because it's so unintelligible. Do we have an official spelling of Dovakhiin/Dovahkiin?

Have Bethesda confirmed the lyrics or is that just what people in the "lyric thread" thought?

I really like it. Strong, powerful.
The drums in the very beginning, and at the very end remind me very much of Morrowind's theme.
The "Huh! Huh! Huh!" is something I like a lot too. It suits with the theme and the setting. It's perfect for the trailer.

If this is the theme, I think they should shorten this "Huh! Huh! Huh!" a bit, or change it a bit at the beginning. Other than that, it could definitely work nicely as a theme.

I like it. It sounds really good especially with the chanting, it makes it feel so epic.

And is it me or the does the end sound alot like the morrowind theme song does in the beginning?

Anyways its much better then oblivion's theme song. I mean the first time i opened the game i was like "Wtf? Was i watching a pirates of the caribbean trailer on youtube and forgot it open?". Not saying it was bad it just didn't fit in my opinion.

The actually lyrical part of the chant near the end is awesome I just don't like all the "huh! huh! huh!" nonsense.
And if you are talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUIZvAe3RBg that is a awesome part of the soundtrack. And I agree chanting does feel right for Skyrim but you will notice the chanting is lyrical the whole time in LOTR. It's subtle at the beginning then builds up. As opposed to "huh's" in your face then awesome chanting.

at first i thought the "huh"s were "Tam! RUGH!" split into three syllables.
