Every so often, a Dragonborn is birthed into the world of Nirn to protect it from moral injustice from the higher powers. The Dragonborn are not perfect and they are more disposed to challenge each other's policies rather than to ally together. It is an unavoidable event of each millennia that all current Dragonborn are driven to slay each other until there is one Dragonborn in that period. The reason for this is the 'hastening' where a Dragonborn has beheaded another. In a tempest of electricity, the survivor convulses and collapses as they absorb the soul and essence of the one they slayed. They become stronger each time this happens.

Dragonborn are not really interested in the politics of Nirn because they are immortal, with the exception of the hastening. This is why many Dragonborn sometimes turn to injustice towards mortals, as they have become sick of their immortality and flung their morals to despise their role in life. This is when other Dragonborn move to hunt them down, not for the sake justice only, but more for their opportunity at a hastening. It could be that each Dragonborn person is a piece of an unrecorded divine, which is why they respect all places of worship as 'sacred ground' and will not corrupt it with the fastening.

I forgot to mention, they can't have children but make excellent lays.

Wouldn't you like to see this happen in Skyrim, or do you think it is absolutely stupid? I'm only suggesting it for curiosity.

Seems like it might make an interesting faction of sorts. Perhaps even a companion quest chain where a dragonborn of the opposite six attempts to seduce you (so that they might kill you later).

Man someone really need to come out with a wickedly awesome Highlander mod once the CK comes out to satisfy our really devoted fan hungers.... There can be only one!!!!!
