Skyrim "Online" Character Progression | dead is dead

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:49 am

Skyrim "Online" Character Progression topic is ment to be a Online Portfolio for one character that you have that hasn't died. It's all written in rules below and you should read the FAQ as well.
Difference from any other topics is that this isn't ment to have any comment because I won't edit this first post with everything you say and I don't want your character progression / portfolio to be lost within comments.

# Rules
  • Create only one post in this topic.
  • Share only one, alive character in your post.
  • Edit your your post with updates about your character progression.
  • If your character dies, report him dead in your post and let it stay there as a "graveyard sign".
  • You may add a new character to your post if your first character is reported dead.
  • If you write more then one post in this topic, you are disqualified and reported for not respecting the topic rules. (You may create your own topic if you want things to be different, please respect this for the sake of others in this community who wish to participate in the topic.)
  • This is not a competition, there is no reason to lie here.
  • Remember, dead is dead! If you die, you shall no longer continue with that character.
  • You are not allowed to write about a dead character. (But editing your post to make it more clear or neat is good.)
  • Obs! 'Dead is dead' doesn't mean you can't drink potions or play on the difficulty settings you enjoy playing on. It only means when you die, you can't continue with that character. (Getting killed by software bugs, doesn't count as dead tho.)

# Tips on what to write in your post
  • Character name and race.
  • Short background story (if you want to!)
  • What kind of stats he or she has, how many hours slept, how many days have passed or how many potions drinken and etc. You decide.
  • If your character has died, you should write down the cause of death and perhaps on which day your character died, in-game of course.
  • You may write about your character relationships, guilds he or she is in.
  • Writing down what your character is going to do next or have done is cool too.
  • Write whatever you want about your one character that is alive.
  • Try to keep your post neat and clean, so it's easy to understand and read.
  • Write down a link in your post to a screenshot\image of your character, if you wish.
  • Use these signs ? ? when your character speaks. Example: ?I only remember waking up in a carriage, I've must had hit my head badly as I have no memory of who I am or what happen before now.? - if you wish.

# FAQ

Question: What if I have a question or comment about this topic, where should I write that?

Answer: Just write your comment or question to me personally by clicking on my name and then click on 'Send me a message' that is found to the upper-right of the page after clicking on my name.

Question: Why can't I write down a character that won't follow the 'dead is dead' rule?

Answer: Simply because this is how I want it, it's my own topic and if you don't like it, you should make your own topic. I see that as fair.

Question: What is the meaning of this?

Answer: It's for fun, perhaps you don't see it as fun but then, clearly, this is not the topic for you. I just wish to create a neat 'overview' of characters that players play and let them share their stories and tales or stats in one simple post. This is for your own personal enjoyment and for your own curiosity on how other players are doing.

Remember, you may only write one post - one character! If character has died - you can start on your new one by editing the same post, just add death details in it.
(And this is mine and I shall try to be a good example but I'm only starting on a new character now by following the rules of dead is dead.)
(Remember, you may edit your post as many times as you want, so it will look exactly how you want it to look, but be honest with details, nothing to gain by lying here.)
