I was suprised on how high Skyrim got, not many games get this high. Thoughts?

How about posting the version that actually matters?

Because that one is only reviewed by 5 critics.

Matters to you? Yes. Matters to me? Not so much. Sure, I might pick it up for my Mac next year, but for now I'm fine with the Xbox version.

Way I see it, it doesn't matter what platform it's on, it's gaining universal high scores across them all. The better this does, the more crap they'll have to work with for the next Elder Scrolls game, so every platform matters.

The real verdict will come when the masses get their hands on it, though I doubt the score will change :intergalactic:

Actually that doesn't say anything. http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/all?view=condensed&sort=desc you can see that Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 got 97.....legend of zelda 98, tony hawk 97...i know, their are different genders...but....le'ts face it, most of reviews today follow the hype of the moment.

Skyrim's gotten high marks all around. The main grievances are poor ally AI and bug issues which are expected, but easily taken care of via mods and patches.

So? The only game there that doesn't deserve that mark is Tony Hawk, and not for being a skating game, it's not that good anyways. But SM Galaxy 1 and 2 do, and Legend of Zelda probably too. I know what your point is, and I'm not trying to invalidate it, because most magazines are just pure garbage, they shouldn't be reviewing anything tbh, their lack of objectivity is immense, but your facts don't prove anything either.
