Skyrim vs The Witcher2 360

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 10:40 am

Story and characters RPG elements the Witcher wins easilty, Graphics are about equal slight edge to the witcher . Combat i have to give it to Skyrim. The Witcher is the better RPG imo ,and it's a truly advlt RPG the only one available for the 360 hopefully this game will pave the way for more.

They are different experiences, for sure. The Witcher guides you through its story, whereas Skyrim lets you wander around and mess with things in your own way.

The Witcher 2 on the Xbox360 is just a fantasy reskin Mass Effect, without a creepy looking alien to have six with my cute red-head.

0/10.

Also, I can't be bothered to give a damn about the characters.

Swordplay is really fun though, Equal to Skyrim, but vastly different (If that makes sense). I played briefly on PC, now I actually have time to sit and learn everything, so maybe it will get better. But I really am just being reminded over and over of Mass Effect. (Feel, not setting obviously)

*Being intentionally facetious. I support any game that has the balls to have any level of depth beyond Point-Make stuff fall down.

Sorry but i think its weird to compare skyrim with witcher,Witcher seems to be more of a story focused game, and you cant even create your own character etc,Thats not the roleplaying game i love,Andtwo different games.
i prefer skyrim becouse i love tamriel and elder scrolls :)no other games then elder scrolls have tamriel in it,Still gotta buy witcher 2 ..Looks good.

Funny thing. We just got Witcher 2 today, my brother [X27 on this site] asked me if I was going to load up Witcher 2 and I said that I wanted to play Skyrim. But I'll get back to you on it when I actually play the game. But right now I'm in a Skyrim mood.

Still on witcher 1, fun game but wanna play it so im not lost in the second one. Does have a leaenimg curve but overall its weird to describe. Id have to say its got alot of freedom during ur quest, more freesom in how to get quests done but in skyrim u can chose which quests u wanna do and in which order wereas witcher its a then b then c etc etc. fun game once u get into it and learn the mechanics.

There's alot of side quests you can do aside from the main story and there really good . Awesome monsters and boss battles to . I just started it yesterday it has alot of control mechanics and does have a learning curve but it's the best RPG i've played since DAO so far.

The Witcher main character looks like a homo.

"Are you designing a game with an incredibly plain looking MC? Can't think of ANYTHING original for the appearance? Just make the hair white! "

-_-
How does one look homosixual? And what would be wrong with that? And what does a characters appearance even have to do with the overall quality of the game?

Story wise I would bet this game trumps Skyrim. Story isn't why I play Skyrim though, SADLY. One of the things that has bound me to TES is the lore. I know more TES lore than lore of any other series or anything.

That might be appropriate except for the fact that the character comes from books written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, who I'm guessing doesn't give a crap about what video game characters look like.

It's an insult to compare TW2's tightly woven, sophisticated political narrative with that space opera... thing.

The Witcher (edit: and the Wticher 2) are only "advlt" rpgs because of sixual content, not mature game design.

You sound very ignorant. That or you are about 15.

Anyway, I'm loving Witcher 2. It's a great alternate to Skyrim.

Geralt looks like a badass, and besides he gets to sleep with a sixy sorceress. You get to see boobs in the witcher 2
don't see that much ingames nowadays. It's a "mature RPG" please dont compare it to skyrim, they are very very different.

I've never played a Witcher title. Is it another first person fantasy game that takes place in a huge open sandbox environment? Certainly, any game that doesn't possess both of those qualities can't hope to compare favorably to Skyrim.

Witcher series is by far a better series than Elder Scrolls...and I don't say that lightly. I LOVE the Elder Scrolls. Truly. But Witcher is something different, and has some of the best writing i've seen in a game, at least since Planescape.
