SKYRIM! Why You No Have Divine Quests

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 8:12 pm

I mean really there are like what 16 Deadric Quests and NO divine Quests i want to know more about the divines and there personalities and what they think about whats going on in skyrim
am i the only one who wants to here Talos's opinion on the whole Civil War that's going on in skyrim
and come on wouldn't it be cool to have like a holy sword or hammer and when people see you they say "by the nine that looks like it was made by the divines themselves"
and before you go saying that they have temple quest which are basically Divine Quest
i say NO
the temple Quests are boring and aren't even rewarding and they barley teach you about the divines the only divine like quest was 'Kyne's Sacred Trials' everything else is bull
*sigh* that's just what i have to say about this let me here your opinion on this

...Have the Divine ever given quests...?
I don't recall, who voiced Stendarr in Morrowind? Anybody?

@ the OP: The Divines, unlike the Daedric Princes, gave up a great deal of themselves and their power when they helped create the Mundus. Consequently they lack the power to be present in the world and act and interact with mortals in the way that the Daedra can. Their blessings can be received at their shrines but when/if they "act" it's usually going to be through a representative of some kind - a priest/priestess, an avatar, etc. They can't manifest like a Daedric Prince for the purposes of hanging out with mortals, talking to them directly, and getting them to go do stuff.

Nope. Quests were always given by followers.

Those aren't handed out by the Divine themselves.
There are two counts of you meeting supposed avatars of the Divine in Morrowind, one of Talos, and one of Mara or Dibella...somewhere in Sheogorad region...
But there has never been an instance of the Divine giving out quests like the Daedric Princes do.

in Knights of the Nine, you have to make pilgrimage to the shrines of the nine divines spread across Cyrodiil to get their blessings just to start a holy quest
that's one of most aedric and badass quest in all TES games :bunny:

KOTN I guess... but that was DLC. There haven't ever been any real serious Divine quests OP, at least I think, but maybe someone can correct me
