Skyrim wont install from CD

Hey well , I have just qued up at Game retail for my copy of Skyrim at 12am only to come home to find that I need steam all well & done after entering my CD key its downloading Skyrim which says it will take 1hr & 30mins sorry but what the Fu** is the point in me buying the CD if I cant install anything from it I might aswell of just downloaded it in steam & waited for it to go active.. really what was the point in me paying a extra £5 from GAME only to have to download it off the internet anyways ? .. Please any feedback be welcome as am very angry sitting here with a CD that does nothing...

I believe if you try to install it from the disk before release, it will pre-load it from Steam. So, wait until it releases in your area.

It is , its almost 2am the game was released 2hrs ago .. :/ very unhappy am having to wait 1hr for the game to download via Steam..

p.s am grateful you have replied in such short notice, but after waiting in a que for 40mins only to have my friends already pre download there copy via steam you can see how am angry having to do the same thing, the money is not a issue its the fact I should of just downloaded my copy like my friends & gone active 2hrs ago in the UK suppose I did get a realistic MAP of Skyrim on my desk.

PC specs for all who care . I7 Sandybridge 4.60Ghz, 8GB Ram 1600mz , Radeon 6950 2048 Ram , SSD 128 ( 2 TB HD ) wanting to play Skyrim with all the bells & whistles , but read the forum it seems the gfx wont be any better then a Xbox? :/

Thank you but sadly this has no effect the game still requires to download it via steam :(
