Skyrim, Xbox or PC?

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 6:06 am

Hey guys, so i've been wondering if it is a better idea to get skyrim for the Xbox or the PC? Will Xbox run smoother? Which will have the best graphics? Any extra details would be greatly appreciated! Here are my computer specs:

F Series Sony VAIO Laptop
Intel Core i7 - Quad Core CPU
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Hard Disk Drive 640GB / Memory 8GB
Adobe Photoshop Elements
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

Your laptop's graphics card is your weakest link. Will probably limit you to around medium settings.

Still, this is likely a little better than the graphics on Xbox. Personally, though, I hate gaming on laptops. It's your preference.

PC if u have one to play it, 360 if you can deal with it

Depends. If you have a DESKTOP! evil little things! Do the xBox.
If you have a LAPTOP godliest invention ever. Do the PC.

GO PC, i'm running a 540M too and we can run it just as well as xbox360, plus you get mods. Come-on now, the modding community is simply too good to pass up.

Unless you have a PC that can handle Skyrim on Ultra-Giga-Win settings, I would personally go with a console copy. More affordable and the graphics/game play will be very similar to that on a PC.

Only you can know your preferences, your situation, your set up, your needs and your opinions.

This has nothing to do with Skyrim really but to do with platform/console choices. There many thread per day started to ask this question.
And they all get locked now because they all promote flaming others for their personal choices. Which quite frankly is pretty rude.

And then there are the elitist who think their dog is bigger than anyone else's.

So big fat macaroni lock for this one too.

Happy Skyrim days to you.
