Its a simple solution to dealing with slow mode, it wont solve/prevent getting the bug and mainly directed to those with the block perk of slowing time since archery can easily remove it.

This should work every time if it doesn't maybe cause your setup is different so it might require (if so) windowed mode. Simply put, when you get stuck in slow mode indefinitely and you want out because you will have a hard time interacting with anything in this mode, ALT+ tab for a few seconds, then come back into the game, for some reason this works everytime for me at stopping it. I have noted though in some case if I didn't ALT+tab long enough out of the game it would not fix it, but it should still be less than about 5 secs, maybe it may vary from PC to PC but I obviously only know from my own system.

ALT+tabbing most likely worked for me is due to the fact of it pausing the game state, so when I come back to the game I guess the game state is "refreshed", but without the bug, so any other means of accomplishing it (refreshing) may do.

This should be less tedious or punishing than having to quicksave+load again especially if you don't think its a good time to save.
