I have come across a glitch which is game breaking.

basically i have been noticing a few of the NPCs doing this strange very slow slide instead of walking with one foot slightly in the air. I have looked everywhere and I cant see it mentioned on the web so thought i would create an account on here and ask if anyone is experiencing the same thing.

at first i saw it happening with random NPCs which didnt interfere with my game directly, but now it seems to have affected some of the NPCs i need to walk with during quests. and considering they cannot move while glitching like this, it is a huge issue.

It first effected story characters when I went to the Grey Beards. everything was fine until i went outside to be taught Whirlwind Sprint. The guy who talks to you is meant to walk infront of the gate so you can then try sprinting through it but he got stuck in the glitch. luckily with this quest, i was able to use Unrelenting Force on him to knock him out of the glitch but now i worry that future quests are going to be unplayable.

please someone help me if you know a way to stop this.
