Small questoin about the ending *probably spoilers* : V

Ok folks, firstly I'm on the PC, so I can't check this for myself, hence this topic. Now, although my questions is about the end of the Dawnguard quest line, I'd like you to keep the spoilers to a minimum. So, now for my question:

If I align myself with the Vamps, will the sky change to a perma-night state upon completion of the Dawnguard MQ? From what I know, the Vamps are trying to permamently hide the sun, so I assume this will be the case...

I hope not though, I hate it when games do that

No, the sun does not stay blocked forever.

However, you can block it temporarily by having Auriel's Bow and giving Serena a few Elven arrows. She will turn them into evil arrows which you can fire at the sun. It will block out the sun for a day.
