Got a small notice about this a while back, and then confronted the guy outside who installed thing on my home's power box, making sure to stay civil of course. Want to know the community's thoughts on these things since the stuff I find online, beyond Wiki and standard crap, appears to be conspiracy theorist material worthy of a movie. Only a few legitimate points have been brought up concerning a Wi-fi signal coming from the meters for remote access, and the power company's ability to blip off your power at intermittent times when they say it’s for “helping regulate power, reducing cost to the consumer.”
Only reason I partly believe this is due to a strange, intermittent signal that pops up from time to time I’ve detected. It could be a person setting up their router for the first time it seems strange to have it blip out as soon as I detect it.
