i just picked the make-plate-and-scaled-armor perk but nothing changed and i can still only make the usual stuff and elven armor. i've tried reloading an older save and restarting but the same thing happends (nothing). is there something else i can try?

Look under steel selection

Probably not a bug. Check to see if it needs certain materials.

Like I was wondering why I couldn't make glass...when all this time, I needed to smelt some ignots into refined moonstones >>.
