Does anyone else get the smithing animation glitch? Everytime i go to the blacksmith forge my character holds the ingot the wrong way when he starts pounding on the anvil. I hope they fix this soon, its really anoying.
nope... worst thing i can say has happened to me is while working at the skyforge i've ended up with the blacksmith there standing on top of my head till i quit smithing.

Not as annoying as a character cutting someone's throat with the wrong side of a dagger.
I looked online and might of found a possible fix, It says that it happens only if you have a sheild equiped. I haven't tried it yet, but can anyone confirm if this is true?
Too funny in my case sometimes when i go to the forge right on top of the companions building (forgot the name) if he is using it and you get there and press a to use it he leaves but in the animation im right inside the forge jajajaja its funny it looks im forging myself...

Funny and worth a try.
Later: somebody is probably making fun of us; the "fix" doesn't work. It was predictable; I don't even understand why I tried...
I had the same issue before, it only happened when i used a forge in Whiterun. I tried cleared my xbox's memory cache, deleting the game, and then re-installed the game to my hard drive and its never happened to me again.

It happens to me all the time no matter where I go, so do i need to clear the cache and reinstall?
On the PS3, I had this happen, not to my character, but an NPC. I think it was the guy in Riften. I remember thinking "Ooooh ... I ain't gonna mess with this guy."
