Smithing in Hearthfire?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:30 am

They mentioned alchemy and enchanting in the video, but does any one know of they are gonna have an area to smith our gear? It might be worth it just to avoid the load times! Yes the game is installed on my hard drive.....
Any way, does any know if they are gonna add an option to change the names of your gear wIthout enchanting it? I know I have been beating on that war-drum for a while, but just an option would be rewarding and also easier for item management.
Are they going to add new enchantments? The ones in the vanilla game, well they could use a bit of a lift up
Thank you for your time ladies and gentleman

I heard mention of a smelter, it be kinda silly to be able to smelt igots but not have a forge to make stuff with them.

well in the video it showed the dragonborn smithing building supplies at a forge and it looked like a new locations, which suggests that each plot of land may come with its own forge at least until you have finished building

At 0:47 you can see a forge, at 1:07 there is the smelter and a grinding wheel.

I expect that the Dragonborn can add smelting facilities to his/her house, if desired.
