Hey guys, noob here again, was just wondering how i leveled my smithing up so that i could make, for example, dwarven gear, or some specialty gear like the wolf armor im using now. Is it a simple solution like leveling my smithing or do i need to find the books to read to be able to make certain sets of armor?

You need the perk for that armor/weapon-type which has a skill requirement and require that you have the perk preceding it in the perk tree. Example: You need steel-smithing to get dwarwen smithing.

You need to train up ur smithing with either creating armor urself, or learning from masters...eventually you can unlock a perks that allow you to create better equipment
