The population in my front and backyard could probably run my house. Damn things eat all my strawberries before I can get near them.

Are the homeless considered renewable energy as well? If so I think Portland might be okay.

Generating electricity from snails to electrocute slugs ! Fight ! Fight ! Fight !

Okay. "Companies and researchers are constantly on the search for new, efficient, clean, and renewable sources of energy to power our heavily consuming society." We're that pathetic ? Really ? Rather than do the obvious thing and start consuming less, we're trying to get sparks from snails ?

considering the power was harnessed metabollicly from the snail, and not because snails in general discharge electricity , i actually wonder how much a human could produce if a biocell was attached to their metabolism.

if it were significant i would not mind having a few of those put in me so i could charge my ipod or cell phone off my body. of course, the most fun would be thinking of where to have the devices dock at.

A human can power stuff as well, just shove it in a hamster wheel and tangle it's obession in front of it.
