Sneaking in PvP

Post » Tue Jul 16, 2013 9:50 am

Hello guys I wanted to get some other opinions on how Zenimax might make sneaking decent for pvp so what are your ideas?

My idea for making it good is maybe a skill that makes you nearly invisible for 10 seconds with a 30 second cooldown or something that way once you get close you can actually go invisible creep up and get your cheap shot in.

I personally think if there isnt anything like this being a dagger assassin will be very lame for pvp.

Its like that, you go invisible but it costs stamina overtime but if I'm correct standing still regens it. This is how I remember hearing it anyway. Also by the way there will be no cool downs if I'm correct

Sneak attacking is a pretty good incentive already. Ambushing is pretty damn OP in any game.

Here's how stealth works in ESO:

Not in Cyrodiil:

Invisible, but line of sight matters. If you stand in front of an NPC, they will see you.

In Cyrodiil:

Invisible, but you will have a shadow on the ground for anyone to see. If you stay in shady areas, you will not be seen.

All of this also depends on a spot check, based on your skill and their ability to see you.

While in stealth and moving you will lose stamina. If you stand still, even in stealth, you will regain stamina.

There are skills/spells to detect stealthed and invisible subjects.

there is different levels of sneakyness ingame, depending what class you play and what gear you have.

some of the players are easily seen when close enuff, some are very hard to detect.

AoE damage and snares are the best way to get a stealther visible.
