You should try being somewhere above! Like that, you have got a nice view. And you'll see many enemies! Also, you should tag them using the Visor. That way, your team will see them in the whole map. You should aim for the head. You could use the Energy Module Retriever, because it collects the dog tags of dead enemies. As a sniper, you won't be able to get all of those by yourself, so Retriever is a nice option. Maybe you should use the..third secondary weapon, this AY-69 or something. Or the Nova or the Majestic. Nova for spamming, Majestic for aiming. And AY-69 for regular use.

Use blind spot to avoid getting caught with max radar, take a good hiding position and protect the objectives from afar. Try to never reveal your location to your enemy. And change position if you think enemy can reach you with ease without u realizing.(be mindful of kill cams ofc they reveal where you are). That the way i play and i can go up to 20/1 in k/d as rare as that goes though(with streak rewards ofc i have retriever). Also you cant always use sniper in every map.

I'm not an expert sniper by any means but I do like to snipe from time to time.

My advice would be use the DSG with a suppressor and extended mag. This helps to keep your position hidden from other players. Use the Nova again with an extended clip and suppressor. The Nova is more forgiving for missed shots and has very good fire rate. Heads are a priority target obviously. Mods I tend to use are Covert Ops as it hides your footsteps although stealth enhance is the obvious choice for most for the fact that it gets rid of your shadow. I also use proximity sensor to give me a warning when people are getting too close although I will forgo that when I get covert ops 3 (increased enemy footsteps). Retriever to get those dogtags and shorten time to bonuses. Jaw is a good choice for firing in on objectives from a safe distance although I have limited success with it. C4 is great for clearing objectives but you are very vulnerable delivering it to the target area.

Never sit on the objective unless there is no one else there. If you are on the objective I would switch to pistol unless you are a demon at OHK close range sniping. Hang back in a position that overlooks the objective. I always make visor tagging a priority in team rounds to help the team but this also helps you track enemies through cover. Practice switching out of cloak before taking a shot. Don't stay in the same spot too long especially if you get a few kills.

Good positions to snipe from are in bushes or somewhere with a fussy background like rubble or foliage. Try to stay out of direct sunlight. Don't sit up against windows but stand a few feet back from them.

Look up Sacriel42 on YouTube for some amazing sniping videos.
