Okay, so i've just gotten to Knight-Paladin Gelebor and the thought just occured to me;
He wasn't really hidden that well?
I mean, i knew Snow Elfs were in it (thanks spoiler thread) but i expected them to be locked long away in a very deep and dark dungeon.
But the dungeon we found him in wasnt really that deep, only one area and guarded by Trolls and Spiders?
Surely some other adventuer wouldv'e stumbled upon him before me.
I'm not critisising, i think its a wonderful plot twist and i am enjoying DG very, very much, i just think its a bit odd.

Perhaps people have been there but did not necessarily survive XD

Well you saw what happened to those troll researchers... They got massacered.

It made the campaign epic, I must say, and I would have criticized it if they hadn't had an almost equally epic side quest involving the Dwemer. IMO of course.

true, but they werent exactly built like Farkas.
But i suppose its also a mystery why only one adventurer in Skyrim goes dungon crawling.

As if trucking through the entirety of the Forgotten Vale wasn't "hidden" deep enough...

Apparently he's hidden pretty well, no one else in Tamriel (not even the best scholars) knew he was there...

He's before the FV. Hanging around with Trolls.
Unless i missed something, and he actually travels back and forth or something.

In Darkfall Cavern. But apparently no one has survived the fall, so he's hidden pretty well. lol

ahh yes the fall. Completely forgot that... Gave me the fright of my life

And then the ride down the tunnel... kinda spooky. lol

he tells you that...something about others questing for the bow but not surviving the quest.

Which the sudden cases of death would hamper any info getting out about him being alive.
