While at the same time i am a nintendo fan since i remember - mainly the first parties i play - not shovelware.

If this ever was a mistaken context of descripting gore as "hardcoe" ... then my apologies, but the chances for this i think are very slim so im going to continue with my thread anyways ... just to prove a point of not anything else.

Please don't use this word again to compare nintendo's non-gore approach to the western violence aproach, The gaming communities term "hardcoe" usually means the GAMEPLAY level. I have rarely and i cannot remember where did I seen the use of this term as a gore/violence descriptor. Just because Zelda has +12 PEGI/ESRB doesn't mean it's a kids game, the gameplay is 10 times better than any of your standard PS360 dudebro PC-Derivative-consolized-flawed-design games.

Carmack will do something for nintendo, even if just an App at frist, or the releases of the old titles that are on XBLA, i bet it hes going to do, he has mario roots and he wanted to show off on the Wii but that didn't happend for Iphone Rage.

Nintendo just proves you can make a game without western violence and blood - which is a reason i never cared about gaming, i don't play games because of purely guns and gore.

Even tho the community is not obviously that large, there always was there, never stopped buying the first-parties, the stable sales of the franchises can prove that, metroid prime beign the obvious example as well as other titles.

The fact why Wii was seen as a kids console is simly because of low-graphics presumably - the actualy hardcoe community never cared about that. All of the noobs were just switching to PS360 because of graphics.


It is really painful to see 14year olds bend the industry veterans in such a way. Make your self a market.

The industry is so wrong these day - nobody want's to invest and make a market - everyone's just jumping ship, following suits where the trend is, and trends are made by the stupid 13year old basemant [censored] living in mother's house eating their genetically altered crap food, why does it have to be like this.



Nintendo doesn't even bend to stupid investors - the one that said nintendo should make games for Apple Iphone, whahaha everyone's laughing at the idiot, he sold his stock thereafter, nobody will miss him.

People who do not understand the unique comapany that nintendo is should never comment it - just because they aren't doing the things the copycat machines at MS/SONY do doesn't mean they're wrong.


If you will support the system i will buy the game ... and all of those first party guys will as well if the game is good enough - the fact that we don't buy 3rd party games is because they're mostly crap shovelware.


The coming wiiU will change everything and if the 3rd parties won't do it just because their impression of the community as being whatever do they think.




The http://www.metacritic.com/game/gamecube/metroid-prime franchise (go beat that score) didn't see 10 million sales, because it was the most hardcoe games and never got dumbed down, and in 10 years their fanbase was always stable , about 1.5 million, the first game sold more because it was bundled with GCN as the "Metroid Prime PAK" they used to call it in Europe ... i still remember the memories of going to a neighbour country to buy that ... the funny thing was, we forgot to buy a memory card, somehow there was none bundled ... stranded on Pirate Frigate ahahha.

I know i will buy WiiU ... as long as the gameplay is great, im buying it, i never buy games for graphics.


ON THE OTHER HAND - THE BIGGEST COUNTER REASON WHY I WOULD ACTUALLY TO BE LIKE THAT:

Is because i don't want to see the broken society of mentally ill childern to INFEST the nintendo communties. It would be just fine for western dudebro 3rd parties to stay away from WiiU so we can enjoy a range of quality games without the so-called "hardcoe" modern warfails.

In order to make your game crap - follow the modern warfail suit. Crysis 2 did exactly that - the [censored]test game ever made - those graphics are irrelevant, i played like 1000 hours of Crysis vanilla, i played 15 minutes of Crysis 2 - call of duty clone [censored].

We're talking about the POST-COD4 COD ... all those previous CODs were fine on PC ... for someone that might not know what was going on in the IW vs. ATVI cluster[censored].


So this "hardcoe" comment is an insult, unless someone explains it or appologies. To make that clear - but i surely am looking to play some nicely rumored Starfox and F-Zero for WiiU (which one is gonna be) ... 10 times better games that any western so-called "story-driven" game, bleh.

I want a response and i want a re-evaluation of the WiiU - what i want to make clear is that you won't get the "MAINSTREAM" following if you make your 3rd party on wiiU - and this is just speculation. What i wanted to clear is the TERM used. I agree, you might not expect so many sales - but the SALES that would be ... if your game is any good , would be immediately noticed by the hardcoe guys.


Carmack said "slam dunk" for the tech - so there is nothing stopping the engine to work on the WiiU.


[No offense but this is just when i see something on a sunday evening and have the spare time to flip out a thread like this - i could have presented more factual evidence and points if i had more time to anolyze and research into detail]
