Is it just me or is Solitude underrated? I feel as if it would have changed places with Whiterun, it would be the most visited city since its in the middle of the map..
Now i only go there to unload my loot, dont live there cause i like Hjerim and Vlindrell Hall better.. so i think its a shame i dont often go there.. cause it does look really nice!

And No. I'd still think Whiterun would beat out Solitude if it did change places. Solitude didn't have the most shops like Whiterun. Though Whiterun does run out of gold easily


People would also like the Jarl's better. And I don't see Whiterun as a Docking city

I think Whitrun is better because all the merchants you need are close together. Although if you know the layout of Solitude well, its not hard to get around.

I like Solitude, but It needs to be the more high-end market it says it is. They have clothes outfitters that are prude and mean saying their clothes are the finest, yet I could by all of their stock for just a few gold. If Solitude had high level gear and expensive items, it would be a more lucrative option than Whiterun

I could see Winterhold being a really interesting city, especially rebuilt. unofficial or official, it could look absolutely stunning.
