1. " Skyrim keeps CTD when I'm playing Skyrim."
Solution 1: For PC users, be sure that you have the Xbox 360 options unchecked every time Skyrim updates. Otherwise, this can create unwanted game issues, such as CTDs.
Solution 2: If you're getting a CTD and a Blue Screen of Death, then you have a video driver problem. You can revert the driver to a pervious version, or you can double-check that you have the correct driver version.
Solution 3: Allow Skyrim.exe to run in Administrator mode. To do this, right click the Skyrim icon and click Properties. Then choose the Compatibility tab. Check "Run as Administrator", Apply and then Ok. This will lessen the CTDs you experience, for the most part.
2. "Skyrim's logo loads, but then the game CTDs"
Solution 1: Unfortunately, modders can't always keep up with the patches that Bethesda releases. You may have an "out-dated" mod. Check the website where you got the mod from and see if you have the lastest version of the mod that is compatible with the lastest patch. Notify the mod's author if he/she does not post what version of Skyrim the mod works with. [I strongly suggest to uncheck the mod from the Data option in the Skyrim Launcher. Click on Data and then uncheck the mod(s) which are causing the game to crash. Any mod that adds/changes the game's coding is often the one that crashes the game.
Solution 2: You may have mods that conflict with eachother. Check the mods' compatibility with other mods that you have. Mod authors post this information as part of their mod descriptions. If you find that you have two mods that are changing the same thing (such as two texture mods), they will not work with eachother; thus, Skyrim will not run at all. This is generally not an issue for experienced modders, but beginners may not know to check such things.
