I saw this on Crymod, and felt it was definitely worth showing here since it hasn't been shown yet. Here's the link:

On a guess, what's amazing about it apart of the Deferred Lights :P? Oh and the Alien AI does quite well.

So... This game has complete destructable environments? Even on consoles? Wow.
Is anyone else getting a boner for the new engine?

meh not a full one but I am getting a quarter chubby from what I have seen so far, but I think this is going to be a game that redefines what can be done in video games

I absolutely adore the CryEngine 3. It is simply the best engine out their right now. If Crysis 2 is a success, I expect many more major companies to license it.

Nope, Crytek has other companies license it from them. :)

Look at their partners tab.

I believe it has been stated that C2 will not be completely destructible, but a large portion of the environment is partially destructible and most objects are supposed to be destructible.

I think what you will see is that most of the structures can be severely damaged and the surfaces may shatter or crumble like in those videos shown, but you will not be able to continue breaking them down until there is nothing left.

As long as the performance doesn't svck like Crysis, this game should be MUCH better.
