Some new ideas about skyrim

Post » Fri Aug 10, 2012 11:56 pm

i was just thinking some new ideas about how to improve the game play or just the character itself by making it more realistic like e.g :-

-while the npc is standing idle or even your character is standing he shouldn't just stand still instead do
some reading or check out his weapon.

-second i think the character should be able to speak not just in sentence give him a voice instead of clicking on the sentence etc.

-third whenever your character dies instead of loading or starting from there you could start from the temple where they aid the wounded i mean that would be realistic depending on the nearest city you are.

these are some things i thought of but instead of putting mods it would be a lot better if bethesda looks into this

thanks

No , please do not add any of these things to the game... It would make it even worse than it already is....

This is clearly the direction of this game, a lot of non essential rather cosmetic gimmicks added in Skyrim.

This is clearly the direction TES is going, they've gone all the way from voice + text to fully voiced dialogue, it's a matter of time until the hardware will allow voiceover for each possible race, six and tone.

it would be a lot better if bethesda looks into this
This is clearly what Bethesda is doing, reading the forums and applying all our wishes into the games.

I kind of like the idea of restarting in the nearest town or temple as it would add more challenge to the game, but then the player could only save their game in the town or in the temple; similar to Dragon Quest 8.

actually the first one is any sort of 'cosmetic gimmick' it would be rather appreciating the game itself i mean instead of just standing and blinking looking it would add something new to the character itself

Second idea would not be so good, unless you can select your voice at the beginning, and they have a range of options that do not include annoying ones, but the third option would be rather difficult to get into, as when you are at the end of the game at the final fight; what if you die during that bit of the game? Not too mention in some places where it has taken you an hour or so to get there.

1. I do not mind.
2. No. I already have a voice in mind for my character (Philip Shahbaz who voiced Altair in Assassin's Creed). It's my character, I don't need any generic voices.
3. I don't see any point when you can just load a save. Besides, this will totally ruin "Dead is Dead". So no.

hmm i agree on the second point there should be a selection what voices should be given according to the age group i mean that would be nice third one i said to the nearest town and i guess bethesda are smart enough to tackle that kind of an issue im just here giving ideas of what i thought

1. I don't have a problem with this. It should have like a one minute timer or something so you have to be idle for a while before your character starts picking its nose.

2. Ten races, two genders, means that they would have to hire at least 20 voice actors, probably more to give players choices and many people wouldnt like the voices no matter what.

3. The question is, how did you get from the dungeon where you died back to the Temple? If you had a follower I could understand, but I pretty much never roll with a follower.

third could also be this that you could actually get to heal at the dovakiin temple or something you know a place where you can meditate before going in the cave and well you got the heal spells as well plus it would make the game more challenging.

Same here. I love how instead of them improving those features. They get rid of them.
