First off it's about Umbra. My most favorite sword on Oblivion. And I was so highly disappointed to find out she was not in Skyrim whatsoever. But here is something i'd like to know and has been making me scratch my head in confusion for a while now. If she was a indestructible
sword, then how is it she was destroyed on her way to Skyrim? So that leaves me thinking, was she lost and not destroyed? And if she was lost, then why not allow us to go find her? I would love to have my beloved sword back. And also, what happened to Dawn/Dusk Fang? It didn't simply vanish. did it?
Next. Shadowmere, I loved Shadowmere in Oblivion and I also love Him/Her in Skyrim. But by all means, the horse six change needs slow down a bit. And why was she more powerful in Oblivion than in Skyrim? You would think that after two hundred years she'd be more powerful now than before? I personally think Bethesda could make her more essential. Also, her four-wheel drive straight up a cliff face seem's to have degraded in the last two hundred years. Oh, and for all horses in Skyrim, why no reverse???? Honestly, how many of you died and reloaded because you quickly found out your horse doesn't have reverse like in Oblivion? And that rearing up trick doesn't always work for reverse. Cause unfortunately, Frost choose to jump us off a very high cliff instead of backing up slowly like I wanted him to.
Acrobatics. I would absolutely love it if they gave us back Acrobatics. Who didn't enjoy jumping around like an idiot all the time? I loved jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Now your lucky if you can jump on top a small rock.
Clothing. Why on earth is all the clothing so dull looking? Really? I mean, not all of Skyrim is in very poor economy that they cant wash or even make highly colorful clothing. And for the record, the fine clothes could really loose the fur on one shoulder.
Why is it that the horses are the only one that have hair and tail moving and the rest of Skyrim don't have moving hair and clothes in the wind?
Its not as fun anymore to be a Wood Elf. None of the old statistics of wood elves is around anymore. I kinda enjoyed being the short one running on Oblivion. Now all races are the same height.
And about being able to play multiplayer on Skyrim. Here's a few of my ideas. First off, it would be nice if I could just wander around Skyrim with your friend or other player. (split-screen, system-linked, or over Xbox-live)
Not to mention, keeping your own Character and not a pre-made one. Cause here's the reason, (comparing Fable 2 and 3 to Skyrim and Oblivion).
In Fable, you get two choice's of character six, male and female and a dog (sometimes a different dog breed).
Skyrim/Oblivion, you get two choises of six of character, a race, and custom character creation(and no personal dog breed).
Fable, you get very few clothing choices, and little to no armor sets.
Skyrim/Oblivion, you get lots of different choices of clothing and armor choices,
Fable, just about everybody looks the same,
Skyrim/Oblivion, No one looks the same. Nor the same strength.
Fable, very few things to do outside of the main quest line or even fewer things to do after the main quest line is beaten.
Skyrim/Oblivion, Lots of thing to do. I.E. Other quests, treasure hunting, dragon killing, (or going together in Oblivion Gates).
So you see, why not make it multiplayer? I know not everyone would want it this way, so they wouldn't have to play it that way if they don't want to. But for the most part, Being able to all look different than everybody else, and tagging along with others in their games. And even be able to either ride the same horse with another player, or bring along their own horse. There's a million things that can be done with having a free play game with multiplayer. You can even have an Online Arena where you can either team up with players to fight other players or do a one on one battle. Or team up with other players to battle creatures. Maybe even a competition to beat up creatures in the shortest time period. There's lots of possibilities.
And finally, my last idea, please, please, please give followers their own horse. or at least don't allow them to attack your own horse when your trying to get them to ride your horse.
But, like I said, these are a few things I'd like or miss from Oblivion.
