Something cool I just experienced for the first time.

Alright, since Skyrim came out nearly a year ago, I've seen a lot of things but tonight, was the first time this ever happened since I've been playing.

I rolled a new character earlier, so I was running across tge plains towards Whiterun but decided to take a detour towards Fort Greymoor. This is when a series of events happened that I found quite shocking.

As I was running towards the Fort, I saw a giant walking along the road. As I ran closer I noticed he never turned to wave his club in warning, instead he stopped, looked down at me and kept walking. I don't know if this was a glitch or it was supposed to happen but this was my first time meeting a friendly giant. He wasn't near any other giants or mammoths, just walking the road by himself. So we walked together for a few minutes before he finally stopped and then just disappeared into thin air. :( I was pretty bummed over that.

Next thing I see, immediately after the friendly giant vanishing, is those two Alik'r men, interrogating a redguard woman on the side of the road, by Fort Greymoor. I thought this was strange since I didn't think they appeared until I spoke to the Jarl, which I hadn't done yet. As they continued on their way towards Whiterun, they immediately draw their weapons and make a beeline for the fort, where I am treated to a pretty epic showdown between the bandits and the two Alik'r men. They both died in the chaos and though now I can dual wield their awesome scimitars, I think I just lost the chance to do the "In my time of need" quest, unless they both respawn later.

After all of this was said and done, the moment I step out of the fort, I get a nice view of two wolves chasing down and killing a fox. Now that I HAVE seen before, but it was a nice ending to my short little adventure. :)

Pretty cool adventure dude. paints a nice picture in my head, although there are friendly giants on the road, although you must have only seen them in their camps before

Yeah, weird how I'd never found a friendly one before. I remember in the trailer it seemed they were initially tolerant of you until you attacked their mammoths and you could walk with them. That would have been cool to keep in the game.
