The player goes to HM for power because he cannot defeat Miraak. Miraak also got some powers from HM. Player defeats Miraak with new powers. Does the anology fit?

Interesting viewpoint. But here's something I noticed: all major quest lines in Skyrim are done for some reason, perhaps morals are at stake, or because of something bad they've done... but Dragonborn is a bit of an exception. Really, it seems your motivation for this is just revenge.

no, miraak is getting replaced by you. Herma mora is like the emperor from star wars that way, he tries to seduce you into giving in to forbidden knowledge...but unlike starwars you give in to the dark side, and unlike luke you replace the "vader" of this anology

Its really tragic, both you and Miraak, the first and last dragonborn, where seduced and fell from grace.
