This happened atleast two times. In the middle of the night, when i'm in deep sleep, my computer just turns on for no reason. But I really don't know what caused it. I don't share my room with anybody. And I sure as hell didn't do it since I would be sleeping. Is there any possible explanation about this?

Is it the computer turning on, or just the monitor?

Well by computer I meant laptop. So the whole just turns on.

Is it actually powered 100% down or is it in a sleep mode?

I've actually heard of this happening before, but I can't remember what the cause was.

Are you fully turning the computer off, or are you just putting it into sleep/hibernate? You can go to Task Manager and see if there's anything fishy in there, but this would only affect the computer if it was sleeping.

I useally put it in sleep mode. So i'm guessing that sleep mode had something to do with this? Then how and why?

Is it hardwired directly into the network or on wifi?

I'm not sure, but I believe that my laptop is hardwired into the network.
